About this image
It was a wonderful opportunity to interact not only with young engineering students but also with their parents at the beginning of an important four-year journey. Instead of delivering a conventional speech, I began with a simple KYC exercise. For me, KYC meant Know Your Customer. But for the students, I redefined it as Know Your Career. Through a few simple questions—about reading habits, continuous learning, AI usage, digital wellbeing, freelancing, financial literacy and the speed of change—I wanted students to reflect on something important: Many of the habits that will shape their careers do not appear on their marksheets.
